ALL is completely independently funded and we rely on the generous support of our members to carry out our work.
We believe that languages are important at all levels of British society and that the UK needs language policies which both reflect our linguistic diversity and take account of our language needs. At the heart of our work is the promotion of improved standards of language teaching.
We greatly appreciate all forms of support, including donations from individuals.
There are many ways of supporting your association, from attendance at events and active participation in local branches and national committees to taking advantage of the various offers made to you through our partnerships with members’ service providers. Every time you use one of these services, you help ALL as well as saving money yourself.
If you are in a group membership scheme, please consider paying the upgrade to become an individual member. You will be entitled to further benefits and will be helping to strengthen and support the association.
We are keen to collaborate with corporate members to improve the services we offer to UK language teachers and to involve corporate members in the work of the association. Here are some ideas for ways that you can support ALL and language teaching in the UK:
